Pero Lucin

lucinperoProfessor Pero Lucin is the Rector of the University of Rijeka and in the past he served in the position of the President of the Board of the National Foundation for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development of the Republic of Croatia (2003-2010). He was also a Member of the Steering Committee for Higher Education and Research (CD-ESR) of the Council of Europe (2002-2004) and a BFUG member (2002-2004).

Kontogoulidou Christina

ckontoDr. Christina Kontogoulidou is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Piraeus at Health Management and Health Economics since 2008. She holds a Bachelor at Statistics and Insurance Science of the University of Piraeus, a Postgraduate Degree and a PhD on IT and Health Management of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

During the latest 20 years Dr. Kontogoulidou is the Head of the International Relations and European Programs Office at the University of Piraeus. She is responsible for the management of European programs and several International relations Protocols; she has been the University's Coordinator of the European Mobility Programs since 1995, and lately of the Erasmus+ program and the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program while participating in co-financed European and research programs as Coordinator or Partner of other Universities and Associations.

During 2004 – 2013 she was a Bologna expert of the National Unit appointed by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs. In 2013 she was honoured by receiving the “Erasmus Minister” title from the European Association Erasmus Coordinators (EAEC) for her contribution to the Erasmus programme, and she was elected as a member of the EAEC Council. Since 2013 she is the Head of the Traineeships Association of 6 Hellenic Universities and 3 Municipalities. Moreover, since May 2015 she is participating as a Researcher in the team of the National Technical University (NTUA) of Athens at CERN.

Βαρβάρα Δηλάρη

Mrs Varvara Dilari holds a BA in French Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She holds a Master on “International and European Policies on Education, Training and Research”, Deapartment of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus. Her thesis is on “The coordinating role of UNESCO in the implementation of EDUCATION 2030: the contribution of the European Union, the Council of Europe and OECD”. She speaks English, French and Italian. She has certification on a specialization Master Course in Translation of French language from the French Institute of Athens.

Since 2002 she is a Senior Official at the Unit of International Relations at the Ministry of Education. She has been appointed as the National Coordinator of ASP net – UNESCO Greece.

She was a member of the National Committee for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in Greece. She is the focal point for ESD to the United Nation Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (MERA). She has represented the MERA in several international fora, Ministerial Meetings and expert groups. Currently she is working on the coordination for the implementation of the new UN Sustainable Development Goals. She has been appointed as the Focal Point for SDG4 implementation at national level. She has participated in the 2nd UNESCO Global Forum on Global Citizenship Education, and she is a Key Partner of the network established by UNESCO for the promotion of Global Action Program on ESD where Global Citizenship Education is also included. She was a member of the core group which introduced the Initiative “Sustainable School Award” and she is actually a member of the core group implementing the Project “Sustainable School Label” both projects based on whole school approach. She has been invited in several conferences as a speaker on ASP net, ESD and DESD including an EU workshop for Eastern Partnership, and an International Seminar for ASP net schools on Climate Change. She is also collaborating with the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Piraeus, and has participated in two European projects.
