The Jean Monnet Chair on European Union’s Education, Training, Research and Innovation Policies and the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation at the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus are pleased to announce the current call for working papers. MA and PhD students, scholars, researchers and practitioners are invited to submit original and unpublished manuscripts in the area of education, training, research and innovation. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • European Higher Education Area
  • European Research Area
  • European Training Policies
  • Europeanization of Education
  • Policies for research, innovation and digital learning
  • Education and labour market
  • Education, democracy and human rights
  • Education in emergencies
  • Adult learning and lifelong learning
  • Quality assurance/accreditation in education
  • Academic freedom
  • The future of higher education under illiberal regimes
  • Migration and education
  • The Sustainable Development Goals

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS

The working paper should include:

  • A clear and concise title
  • The contact details of the author(s) (name, contact information and month/year)
  • A brief description of author’s bio (maximum 150 words)
  • Abstract (of no more than 200 words)
  • Keywords
  • The paper should be in Word format only
  • Include only the tables, graphs, figures and other graphical material that are absolutelynecessary
  • Give a complete list of references that match the citations in the article
  • Use single-spacing with no extra space between paragraphs
  • The working paper must not exceed 5000 words (bibliography or citations/references are not included)
  • Papers can be submitted in both English and Greek languages
