Lydia Vaiopoulou

lydiavaLydia Vaiopoulou, is a intern at the Laboratory of Educational Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC). She is a Master Student of the program “International and European Policies in Education, Training and Research” University of Piraeus. She holds a Bachelor Degree on Preschool Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. During her bachelor studies she participated in the Erasmus program with a studies semester at the Charles de Gaulle Lille III in Lille, France. Since November 2016 she is doing her internship at the Laboratory of Educational Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC)

Lydia, has successfully completed an internship at the Representation of the European Commission in Greece at the Citizen's Information Office and at the European Public Space. As well, a six months traineeship at the kindergarten of the Greek Parliament.Furthermore during hes studies she has carried out practical trainings at public schools in Greece and in France.

Ioanna Farantaki

farantakiIoanna Farantaki is a distinguished graduate of the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus. She participates at the Laboratory of Educational Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC) as assistant researcher at the Jean Monnet Networks "Nexus of European Centers Abroad for Research on EHEA ( NEAR-EU)".

In the past, she worked as an Intern at the European Office of Cyprus in Brussels, for nine months, where the field of her internship constituted, among others, the occupation with the funding opportunities provided by the European Union to its Member States, the provision of information and support to the office members as well as the representation of the office in various events.

During her undergraduate studies she was a member of SAFIA (Student Association for International Affair) in which she participated as a columnist. In addition, she participated as a columnist in the NGO of Ioannis Kapodistrias but also as a researcher in the Study Laboratory of BRICS of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus. Finally, from the first years of her studies, she expressed a strong interest in participating in simulations in Greece and abroad, such as the European Parliament and NATO.

Niki Psoma

nikipsomaNiki Psoma is an undergraduate student from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus, who is currently doing her internship at the Laboratory of Education policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC). 

In the past, she participated as a volunteer in the Jean Monnet Program EuropeStARTS.

Furthermore, she was representative of the youth NGO JEF Piraeus at the Jean Monnet, Information and Research Activities program “YouthActiv” and at the Jean Monnet Project "Universities4EU" that were implemented by the Department of International and European

Elsa Kryeziu

elsakElsa Kryeziu holds is a graduate student from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus, who is currently doing her internship at the Laboratory of Education policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC).

In the past she did an internship at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy in the research program of South East Europe. Also, she has participated as a research assistant and translator in the South-East Europe Institute, International Relations Quarterly.

Furthermore, she was a volunteer during the TEDx University of Piraeus event and the European program Jean Monnet Project “Universities4EU” that was implemented by the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus.
