The Postgraduate Program “Master in International and European Policies on Education, Training and Research” of the Department of International and European Studies in cooperation with the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Piraeus organized visit of its postgraduate students to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva during 30th – 31st of May 2016.
The students had the unique opportunity to be informed regarding the actions of the Organization, as well as to visit some of the areas of the experiments. The students had a guided tour in the operation areas of the experiments and attended relevant scientific lectures and seminars. You may find the schedule of the Training Course here. In addition, during the two – days visit to Geneva, the students visited the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), where they had a guided tour as well.
