On the 24th of November 2016, Dr. Foteini Asderaki participated at the Special Standing Committee on European Affairs and the Standing Committee on Educational Affairs of the Greek Parliament. On the agenda that day was the work of Jean Monnet Chairs at the Greek Universities.
The first year students of the department of International and European Studies visited the Information Office of the European Parliament in Greece in the framework of the course “International and European Institutions”. The students had the chance to discuss about the European Union’s Financial Governance with mr. Aris Peroulakis, Deputy Head of the Representation Office of European Commission in Greece and mr Leonidas Antonakopoulos, Head of the Information Office of the European Parliament in Greece.
One more thematic workshop took place in the framework of the Open Course “Education, Training, Research and Innovation in EU” of the Department of International and European Studies. The thematic of the workshop was “ERASMUS for young entrepreneurs”. At this thematic course guest speaker was Mr. Manos Andreadis, Project Manager of Asset Technology that is the National Implementation Agency for the program “Erasmus for young entrepreneurs”.
The Workshop “The Future of Europe” took place at the University of Piraeus, in the framework of the Open Course “Education, Training, Research and Innovation in EU”. The participants of the workshop were undergraduate and postgradute Greek and Ιnternational students from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus.
