International Symposium “Aristotle Anniversary Year: From hate speech to tolerance and understanding”

imageDuring the 19th and 20th of March 2016, took place the International Symposium “Aristotle Anniversary Year: From hate speech to tolerance and understanding” under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, that was organized by the British Council in cooperation with the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC) from the Department of International and European Studies, University of Piraeus with the support of Megaron Plus. The main aim of the symposium, based on Aristotle’s Rhetoric, was to explore the phenomenon of hate speech in the contexts of public speech, education and psychology.

On the 23rd and 24th of January 2016 was held at Thessaloniki the two-days training for the educational activities '' Teachers4Europe" and " European Parliament School Ambassadors Program” . The educational activities were organized by the European Commission Representation in Greece and the European Parliament Office in Greece with the support of the EduTV of the Ministry of Education and the Laboratory of Educational Policies, Research, Development and Inter-University Cooperation (ERDIC) of the Department of International and European Studies, Faculty of Economics, Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus.
