Summer School "European Governance and the state"
The University of the Aegean organised, from 6th to 16th July in Mitilini, the Summer School of the Social Sciences School, with the topic: "European Governance and the state". The Summer School was under the scientific supervision of the Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Professor Panos Grigoriou.
Through targeted subjects of comparative european politics, dealing with managing external relations of European Union in migration, in education, in the relations of regional integrations with globalisation and economy and with the support of a team of prestigious academics - from Greece and abroad-, this Summer School has been a dynamic approach to the system of European Governance.
The European Channel “euronews” visited on Friday 19th June the University of Piraeus and discussed with graduating students of the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus and Dr. Foteini Asderaki, Director of Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development, Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC).
On Wednesday 3rd June 2015, the Laboratory of Educational Politics, Research, Development and Inter-University Cooperation (ERDIC) in cooperation with DAAD (German Service of Academic Exchange) organised an event at the premises of the University of Piraeus.
On Monday 18th of 2015, an event was conducted with the subject “New strategies and opportunities for Education. The meaning of active citizen and the European Year of Development 2015.”, which was organized by Europe Direct of Norther Aegean, European Jean Monnet Chair and the Laboratory of Educational policy, Research, Development and Inter-University Cooperation (ERDIC) of the Department of International and European Studies of University of Piraeus. The event attended teachers of the area.
