During the 16th and 17th of June 2016 took place the two – days conference entitled as “Days of expression and creativity” with main subject: “The human life as fundamental European principle” of the TEACHERS4EUROPE network at the Herakleion Chamber of Commerce and Industry by the Teachers4Europe of Primary and Secondary Education of Herakleion.
The Postgraduate Program “Master in International and European Policies on Education, Training and Research” of the Department of International and European Studies in cooperation with the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Piraeus organized visit of its postgraduate students to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva during 30th – 31st of May 2016.
On Wednesday 30rd of March 2016, the Laboratory of Turkish and Eurasian Studies of the Department of International and European Studies of University of Piraeus, with Director the Assistant Professor Nikolaos Raptopoulos, organized the conference titled “Turkey and the strategic upheavals of a transitioning region” that took place in the Conference Room of the University of Piraeus. The event honored with their presence numerous academics, undergraduate and postgraduate students.
On Wednesday 23rd of March 2016, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Permanent Delegation of Greece to UNESCO Mr. G. Veis gave a speech in the Conference Room of the University of Piraeus for postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Department of International and European Studies. The event was organized by the President of the Department Professor Aristotle Tziampiris and the Laboratory of Education Policy, Research, Development and Interuniversity Cooperation (ERDIC).
